Admins are encouraged to bring topics and engage chatters in discussion.

Admining Chatters

  • Unless the room owner states otherwise, admins must follow the warning, dot, bounce sequence when chatters commit offenses.
  • The warning must clearly identify the specific chatter and behavior, either on the mic, in text, or both.
  • Do not use admin tools to bully chatters for personal reasons or personal attacks.
  • If there is a chatter you do not want to engage with, use the ignore or block function.
  • Do not over-admin chatters based on whether you like or dislike them. The goal of the chatroom is to encourage dialogue and debate.
  • Do not admin chatters for mistakes from a previous day. Every day is a new day, and the warning, dot, bounce sequence should be used even with regular chatters.

Admining Admins

  • Admins may not red-dot or bounce other admins. Superadmins are exempt from this rule.
  • Exceptions: red-dotting for time or hot mic.
  • Admins should not make disparaging remarks about other admin actions in public chat.
  • If admins have a concern about how another admin acted, use admin whispers instead of public chat. To use admin whispers, type "/" and select All Admins.
  • Do not remove bounces unless Andrew states otherwise. Do not add or remove bans unless Andrew states otherwise.
  • The room does not admin from other rooms or private messages unless Andrew states otherwise.
